Queen Bee piece, right? Well this is a smaller, one with less detail. It seems like it would've been fun to draw, but it took me a while to finish it. I was determined to get her done but I hid her for a LONG time (and I'm currently still holding out on you with other pieces, but you'll have to wait and wonder for the time being). I'm glad I pulled through to the end with this one; it turned out really great and from now on, unless I have a deadline, I'm not going to stress myself out about finishing a drawing too quickly. I'm not in the same place artistically as I was 3 years ago and it's okay to take the time to do something well and make it look nice. I don't need to rush everything.
Also, my mother got me a Trikky as a gift (it's like a Munny but a cat instead of a monkey) so at some point when I buy more Sculpey I'll be customizing another vinyl toy, but just like the last one I'm gonna take my time and not rush it.
And I got promoted at BGF. You're looking at the new Managing Editor at BGF Magazine... and YES, I do know what that means.
